Coaches for 2016-Dialogue

Post by commish » Thu Mar 17, 2016 12:56 pm

Initially I wanted coaches for this league. They have become less attractive for these reasons:
1. The game gives us layers of detail to program our teams. Even a click of a sabermetric option can do it all in 2 seconds
2. Many of us forget to renew their contracts even with in game warnings. LOL
3. I often fire the stubborn ones because THEY want to control my base stealing. A lot of nerve, I say.

So, if you have thoughts regarding coaches list them below. Remember, we are not voting. Unless I receive a pretty strong 'kick back' on having coaches we will not have them. That said, if you do want please......speak out.

No coaches please, remembering to renew my scout is enough for me ;)

Coaches don't add anything to my enjoyment of OOTP, so I'm with you on this one.

I'm indifferent. Either way I wouldn't mind. Not that hard to manage coaches and resign them but less work if we dont have any.

I prefer No Coaches.
In my opinion, it just makes a league complicated & unstable in game data
without any interest or influence.

I'm fine with no coaches. In my other league they are more of a pain than anything else.

Decision:

The GLBL will not institute coaches. This is not an area that I think we need to revisit in the near future.

Thanks for your comments.
