Final Decision:
The rule of keeping salary amounts (for extensions and FA's) never lower in a subsequent season has been waived effectively now.
GM's may vary the amount of yearly salary remembering that all years will be guaranteed.
Remember:
- we have a 20% rule on bonus amounts (this will be tied to the lowest contract year amount)
- no team options
Note: We haven't really discussed vesting options. I'd like to leave that door closed until we can discuss it at the close of the season. I think there may be a place of vesting options in the league so we'll get some discussion going on that subject right after the championship series, or slightly before.
