Right, some things are just not on the table. And if you had said "I know there's some support for interleague play, but I'm sorry, it's just not going to be considered at this time," I would have accepted that and not pursued it further (opting instead to pursue some other fruitless quest, as is my wont). But you
put it on the table. That act alone constitutes a willingness to let the GMs decide. In a 12-team league, 3/4 is only one vote more than 2/3, so I guess that's not a huge difference. But it
does mean that four people can keep us from doing what eight others want to do.

Perfectly reasonable.

Well, we already know that the way it was written caused one GM who is in favor of interleague play to vote no. That would be a pretty big deal if his was the deciding vote, which it doesn't appear to be. I suppose if the other GMs who voted no feel the way Martin does it's incumbent upon them to speak up, and if they don't, we're probably safe in assuming they're just against interleague play in any form.
Maybe it would have been better to just ask for a show of hands on whether interleague play was a deal-breaker or not, and if it wasn't,
then we could iron out the details.

No problem, thanks for listening.
