Getting offensive support from Jim Ashley, the Milwaukee Eagles topped the Kingston Comets, 10-5. Ashley went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 for the Eagles. Milwaukee raised its record to 72-56 with the win.

Giovanny Paolillo hit a run-scoring triple off Dan Floyd in the bottom of the second, which put the Eagles in front, 1-0. Paolillo had 2 walks, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 2.

"This win gets us that much closer to where we want to be," Ashley said in postgame remarks.
