The 6-4 Windsor win over Thunder Bay was due in large part to Charlie Ruíz. The Vigilantes right fielder went 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times. Luis Torres was credited with the save, his 2nd in 4 tries. Windsor, at 86-52, is 14 games up in the North of the Border.

Ruíz had an important at-bat with the bases empty in the bottom of the seventh, when he hit a double. The Vigilantes went on to win.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Ruíz said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
