Joyner Collects Cycle Monday, July 1st, 2030 Finishing with 4 hits is a great day for any player, but Phil Joyner made it even more special by hitting for the cycle at Comet Field today. Joyner had 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run for the Kingston Comets and led them to a 12-3 decision over the Hamilton Mounties. The right fielder also finished with 3 runs scored and 4 RBI. "Awesome," Joyner said when asked how the accomplishment felt. Phil Joyner singled in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, hit an RBI triple in the 4th, doubled in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Jason Stevenson in the 8th.
