CAN Star of the Week Chosen Monday, July 11th, 2033 So far in his young career, Claude Schwartz has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Canadian in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Hamilton Mounties left fielder hit at a torrid .706 clip as he collected 12 hits in 17 at-bats, 5 home runs, 10 RBIs and 11 runs scored. So far this year, Schwartz is batting .292 with 19 home runs and 48 RBIs. |
