David Gets 1-0 Shutout Wednesday, July 25th, 2035 Gilbert David was throwing strikes early and getting ahead in the count, his manager said after the Duluth Sea Gulls hurler tossed a 7-hit, complete game shutout against the Windsor Vigilantes. "I went right after each hitter, trying to get ahead in the count," said David. "I wanted them to swing the bats and keep my pitch count down. It worked. I felt strong the whole game, even in the last two innings." David walked 0 and struck out 2 in the 1-0 victory. This season David has compiled a 7-10 mark with a 4.27 ERA in 21 starts.
