CAN Premier Pitcher is Toronto's Bailey Wednesday, August 1st, 2035 Pat Bailey has been around the league long enough to know that relievers are often overlooked. That has never stopped him from doing what he does best -- and he did it extremely well in July and stole away with the Canadian Pitcher of the Month award. The Maples bullpen ace collected 3 saves and 12 strikeouts in 15 innings, holding the opposition to a .173 average and posting a 1.20 ERA and a 5-0 record. This year Bailey has 21 saves. In 46 relief appearances he has hurled 57.2 innings, fanned 39 and given up 17 walks with a 9-4 record.
