Leonard, Michaud Suspended for Fracas Wednesday, July 18th , 2040 Jim Leonard of Milwaukee and Jeff Michaud of Chicago were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Leonard will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Michaud was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. Looking at his season stats, Leonard has compiled a .291 batting average and a .387 on-base percentage, while hitting 10 home runs and driving in 39 runs. In 19 starts this season Michaud has recorded a 9-5 record and a 1.63 ERA. |
