Toronto Third Baseman Named CAN's Best Rookie Saturday, October 5th , 2041 The top Canadian rookie in 2041 was Toronto third baseman Scott Robertson. He's the latest winner of the Canadian Lake Huron Rookie Award. During his first year in the league, the 27-year-old Robertson hit .236 with 87 hits, 12 home runs, 48 RBIs and 51 runs scored. He also walked 59 times on his way to a .339 on-base percentage. Pablo Ojeda of the Hamilton Mounties finished second in voting, while Steven Dow of the Windsor Vigilantes finished third. |
