Brett Collins Selected May's Best Batter Friday, June 1st , 2046 To survive in the bigs, you've got to be a scrapper like Brett Collins. It never pays to take a day off from the batting cages or to shrug off the advice of the hitting coach. It all paid off today as Toronto's left fielder pinned down the Canadian Batter of the Month trophy today. He hit .290 in May collecting 5 home runs, 13 RBIs and 14 runs scored. Currently Collins has 6 home runs and a .287 batting average. |
