Scott Voted May's Rookie Award Friday, June 1st , 2046 Despite his newness to the USA, last month Dave Scott put up solid numbers and claimed the Rookie of the Month Award. In May the Toledo starter went 3-1, tossed 32.1 innings with 33 strikeouts and held the opposition to a .195 average. If Scott continues at this pace, he will certainly have a long and profitable Great Lakes Baseball League career. Scott has posted a 5-3 record for the year with a 2.95 ERA. Teams are hitting .208 against him and he has rung up 55 strikeouts in 64 innings. |
