GLBL News: Playoffs begin Monday, September 10th, 2029 What months ago was a dream is now reality. The trade deadline has passed, along with all the GMs' wheeling and dealing. Contract negotiations are on hold. Front office work is all put on the back burner. Now it's time for each club, player, coach and manager to put their imprint on Great Lakes Baseball League history. Nobody will remember the free agent who got away. No one will care about the trade that fell through. People will remember just one thing about the playoffs -- the team that wins the GLBL Championship crown. The League Championship starts today with these matchups: Owen Sound Waveriders versus Toronto Maples and Duluth Sea Gulls versus Toledo Neptunes. |
