London-Green Bay Brawl, Mitchell and Núñez Suspended Friday, August 24th , 2040 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's London-Green Bay contest at Solar Field. The Eclipse Brandon Mitchell and the Golden Eagles Jimmy Núñez will have to sit out 4 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This year Mitchell has hit at a .305 clip with 29 RBIs, 9 home runs and 23 runs scored. For the season Núñez has logged 5 wins and 3 losses and struck out 82 batters in 68.1 innings while compiling a 5.27 ERA. |
