Green Bay Beats Leamington in AAA Championship Tuesday, August 24th , 2055 The Green Bay Golden Eagles pulled out all the stops tonight, winning the AAA Championship in a hard-fought series with the Leamington Mariners. It was a seesaw affair, but with a 10-3 victory at Northwood Park, Green Bay lay claim to the franchise's 7th championship. "There's no denying we faced a tough opponent," said Frédéric Rivière. "But as the old saying goes, 'when the going gets tough, the tough get going,' and that's what we did today." The champs finished the regular season 74-50 and claimed first place in the Division 1.
