SL1's Best Player Named Monday, April 25th , 2039 So far in his young career, Jim Ross has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Sub League 1 in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Burlington Jack Rabbits center fielder hit at a torrid .579 clip as he collected 11 hits in 19 at-bats, no home runs, 4 RBIs and 5 runs scored. This season Ross is batting .314 with 22 hits, no home runs, 7 RBIs, 5 walks, .355 OBP and has scored 15 runs. He has played in 18 games. |
