Great Day for Harris -- 5 Hits Sunday, August 29th , 2055 Manitowoc Cranes second baseman Woody Harris had a day to remember at Sandstone Stadium, ripping apart the Au Gres Wolverines and sparking the 7-4 Cranes win. Harris wrote his name in the record books with a 5-hit barrage, finishing his special day 5-for-5. "I'm usually a first ball hitter," Harris told BNN reporters in the postgame press conference. "I think pitchers think batters are going to let the first one go by. I never do. I've always found that it's better to pull the trigger early in the count. Pitchers get real nasty when they get ahead of you, so I try to avoid it." Woody Harris doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
