Sea Gulls Hitless Against Peterson
|
Windsor is abuzz in the wake of a masterful no-hitter by Dan Peterson.
The 28-year-old hurler was dominating against the Duluth Sea Gulls, leading the Vigilantes to a 7-0 win at Sea Gulls Field today.
"I could tell early on that it was going to be a long day for us," Duluth manager G Maloney said afterward. "He made us look real bad. He was that good. And still going strong at the end of the game."
Peterson had 6 strikeouts and gave up 4 walks en route to the no-hitter.
"Yeah, this was a special day for me," Peterson said. "I had my good stuff and good movement. Good location, too. Even when I made a mistake, I got away with it today."
