2-1 Loss Extends Kingston Skid
|
In a tight affair between the Thunder Bay Caribou and the Kingston Comets, pitcher Yakumo Hasegawa was in the zone. The Thunder Bay right-hander helped his team win the game, 2-1. The Comets drop to 11-12 and continue their mediocre start to the 2049 season.
Jamal Amador, who leads the CAN with a .389 batting average, chipped in for Thunder Bay with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the right fielder had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
Amador told the Thunder Bay Observer: "Win or lose, I don't want to see our team outhustled."
