Pedro Morales Gets Hit Number 3500
Pedro Morales reached the 3500-hit milestone this afternoon at Pier IV Grounds. The 41-year-old Bears left fielder went 1-for-4 in a losing effort in the Traverse City 6-5 defeat at the hands of the Chicago Architects.

Morales has played in 3067 games with a .307 lifetime batting average. Among his 3500 hits are 700 doubles, 125 triples and 415 home runs. He has also scored 1845 runs and driven in 1587 runs.
