Vigilantes Lose to Architects, 7-5
|
The Windsor Vigilantes got a superb performance from center fielder Mike McLeod. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Chicago. The Architects won the game, 7-5. McLeod went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Picking up the save was Pat Wright, his 2nd. With the victory, the Architects upped their record to 19-18.
Ollie Lepage, the 36-year old second baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Lepage contributed a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to put Chicago up, 4-0.
"We ground out the win," said Lepage. "That's all that matters."
