The Toronto Maples weathered an outstanding game by Owen Sound right fielder Andrés Rodríguez to topple the Waveriders, 7-5. Rodríguez was 3-4 with 2 home runs and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Larry O'Connell, credited with the win in relief, is now 1-1. He allowed 2 runs on 2 hits in 1 innings. With the win, Toronto raised its record to 24-16.
