Eagles Clip Caribou 1-0 in GLC Contest
Billy Hill pitched a gem to help the Milwaukee Eagles escape with a tight 1-0 victory over the Thunder Bay Caribou in a low-scoring GLBL Championship contest today. The right-handed Hill threw 8.0 innings of shutout ball in the win, just enough for the Eagles on a day when their offense dried up. Milwaukee now leads the best-of-7 series 2-1.

Hill, the Milwaukee right-hander, went 8 innings, allowing no runs on 2 hits. He collected 7 strikeouts.

"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Hill said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Caribou Field in Thunder Bay.
