Kingston Comets starter Cal Henry turned in an exceptional performance against the Owen Sound Waveriders at Comet Field, resulting in a Kingston win, 4-2. In 6.1 innings, Henry surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. He allowed 2 runs. Santiago Costa closed it out for his 9th save.
The Comets got a big at-bat from first baseman Dan Olson. For the game, Olson was 1-3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Kingston a 4-2 lead.
"It was a good effort all around," said Olson.
