Mounties Suffer 4-1 Road Loss
|
Thunder Bay Caribou starter Yakumo Hasegawa found his groove in his team's 4-1 win over the Hamilton Mounties. Nick Tate notched his 4th save in 4 chances. The win for the Caribou lifted their record to 36-25.
Robinson González's at-bat in the bottom of the sixth inning was a big one for Thunder Bay. Coming to bat with two out, a runner on 3rd and Thunder Bay trailing 1-0, the left fielder reached on an error by the 2B, driving in 1 run.
"That was a really good outing by Yakumo," said Thunder Bay manager Daniel Mays.
