Maples Lose to Vigilantes, 7-3
|
Dave Dodd was a vital contributor to the 7-3 Windsor victory over Toronto. The Vigilantes left fielder went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The North of the Border-leading Vigilantes have a record of 49-28.
The Vigilantes got a big at-bat from first baseman Dusty Murphy. For the game, Murphy went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 14th home run of the season gave Windsor a 5-2 lead.
