Toronto picked up a win at Ontario Ballpark, bumping off the Kingston Comets, 4-3. Pitcher Carlos Moreno was a major reason the Maples emerged victorious. Toronto reliever Roberto Terraza picked up the win, upping his record to 4-2. Herkko Laakso took the loss. With the win, Toronto raised its record to 43-38.

Toronto got a knockout punch from Peyton Coffman. The right fielder hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"We were the better team," crowed Moreno.
