Loss to Mounties Extends Windsor Losing Streak
The Hamilton Mounties went home winners at Justice Field, thanks in large part to starter Sean Moore. Moore stifled the Windsor Vigilantes, enabling Hamilton to grab the 6-0 win. In 7.2 innings, Moore surrendered 8 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 0. He allowed no runs. Windsor's current losing streak is now 7 games.

Herb Schurman had a big 2-run double for the Mounties in the top of the sixth inning. With Hamilton leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a changeup from José Cedeño, who won the Lake Huron Rookie Award in 2050, and swatted a double to center. It was his 10th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Mounties ahead, 4-0.

"Sean's focus was outstanding. The way he handled every moment -- when there was a little trouble, he didn't lose his tempo or his rhythm," said Hamilton manager Al Borie.
