Adams goes 3-for-4 to Power Neptunes Offense
|
The Toledo Neptunes downed the Traverse City Bears, 10-5, at Ballpark of Toledo. Dwayne Adams led the way, going 3-for-4 for Toledo. Toledo reliever Woodrow Butterworth was the winner. His record is now 2-3. The losing pitcher was John Kline. Toledo has run its win streak to 4 in a row.
Philippe Labbé went 2 for 4 with 2 singles for Toledo. The 34-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off John Kline. It was his 6th RBI of the season.
"Winning never gets dull," said Labbé.
