Kingston starter Roland Fuller pitched well against the Hamilton Mounties at Comet Field. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-1. The winning pitcher was Fuller, now 8-5. He tossed 6 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 5. Kingston bumps their record to 43-44 with the win.
The Comets got a big at-bat from shortstop Johnny Peterson. For the game, Peterson went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 17th home run of the season gave Kingston a 3-0 lead.
