In a tight game between the Detroit Thunderbirds and the Thunder Bay Caribou, pitcher Ralph Baxter was terrific on the mound. The Detroit right-hander helped his team to the 3-0 win. Eric Copeland was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 2 of 2 save opportunities. Detroit is now 38-53.
