Moss Sizzles, Hamilton Fizzles
|
Dave Moss had an impressive outing at Harbour Field, hurling the Kingston Comets to a 2-0 shutout victory over the Hamilton Mounties.
"He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," Hamilton skipper Al Borie said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders."
On the day, the right-handed Moss yielded 2 hits and tallied 2 strikeouts with no walks.
This year, Moss has made 18 starts, thrown 95.1 innings, fanned 83 batters and walked 20. His won-lost record is 6-5 with a 4.72 ERA.
