Sulakvidze Helps Hamilton Cruise to 10-3 Win
The home crowd had a good time watching the Windsor Vigilantes and Hamilton Mounties get after it.

Due in large part to catcher Zakir Sulakvidze, the Hamilton Mounties sunk the Windsor Vigilantes, 10-3. Sulakvidze went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. The winning pitcher was Ken Watson. He's now 5-4. He went 6 innings, allowing 3 runs on 8 hits for the Mounties. Richie Piper got the save, his 2nd in 6 chances.

With Hamilton leading 4-0 in the bottom of the third, Sulakvidze came up to bat against Windsor pitcher Júlio Castro. Sulakvidze hit a fastball to left for a grand slam home run. His 5th home run of the season put the Mounties on top, 8-0.

Afterward, Windsor manager Greg Erbisch said: "Every team has a bad week."

The losing skid has reached 6 games for Windsor.
