3-2 Win Takes Architects to 59-49
|
Harbour Field was the site of a tense game between the Hamilton Mounties and Chicago Architects.
Chicago turned a good effort from starter Manuel Moreno into a win over the Hamilton Mounties at Harbour Field. The final score was 3-2. Moreno yielded 2 runs over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 1, and struck out 1. His record improves to 9-10.
Chicago used a clutch at-bat from Milovan Jevtic to capture the win. The right fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Architects ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"I executed the game plan," said Moreno.
The victory gives the Architects a record of 59-49.
