Wet weather did not postpone the Thunder Bay-Toledo ballgame.

The Thunder Bay Caribou powered past the Toledo Neptunes, 15-5, at Caribou Field. José Aranda belted 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 5, to lead the charge. The first-place Neptunes have dropped 4 straight games.

Sean White had a big 3-run home run for the Caribou in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Thunder Bay trailing 3-2 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a sinker from Nick Keddy, who leads the USA with a 1.03 WHIP, and punished it. The result was his 14th home run of the season, which put the Caribou on top, 5-3.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Aranda told the Thunder Bay Gazette.
