Loss to Architects Extends Milwaukee Losing Streak
|
Good production from first baseman Harrison McGill helped the Chicago Architects topple the Milwaukee Eagles, 6-4. McGill went 2 for 4 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Architects. Chicago reliever Tsutomu Fukuda was the winner. His record is now 6-4. The losing pitcher was David Gray. The first-place Eagles have dropped 6 straight games.
McGill contributed in the bottom of the first. With a runner on 3rd, he hit a run-scoring triple. It was one at-bat among others that helped Chicago get the win.
In postgame comments to the Chicago News, McGill said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
