Despite a fine performance by first baseman Art Loder, the Chicago Architects lost to the Thunder Bay Caribou, 5-4. Loder went 2-2 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Thunder Bay's record now stands at 61-68, placing them 4th in the North of the Border.
Sean White provided a timely hit. The Thunder Bay catcher delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the sixth inning to put the Caribou on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.
