Caribou Pick Up 3-1 Win Over Kingston
|
The Thunder Bay Caribou called upon starter Carlos Snow, and he delivered, leading his team to victory over the Kingston Comets, 3-1. Snow picked up the win for Thunder Bay, going 7 innings. He gave up no runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 11-8. Dustin Hennequin converted his 13th save in 17 tries.
Jesse Pulsifer, the 24-year old right fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Pulsifer contributed a solo home run in the top of the fifth inning to put Thunder Bay up, 2-0.
"Nice win for us," said Pulsifer. "Now we'll go after the next one."
With the win, Thunder Bay pushed its record to 71-64.
