Man Touches All the Bases, Hits for Cycle
Qi-chen Man was jubilant as the Plymouth Rockers left the field with a win, 8-2, over the Mississauga Mad Catz. He had every right to be.

The 29-year-old second baseman hit for the cycle at Mad Katz Grounds, had a 4-for-5 game and added 4 runs batted in and 2 runs to boot.

"It's too bad I can't do that every day," Man said with a smile to reporters after the game. "It would do wonders for my batting average."

Plymouth manager was "proud" of the second baseman's feat, but was not expecting it to happen.

"Cycles are tough because triples are tough," the skipper said. "As soon as the ball left the bat on that triple, guys were jumping off the bench for him. Honestly, I wasn't sure he was going to be able to leg it out."

Qi-chen Man hit a two-run triple in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Will Blanchard in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th.

To date this season, Man is hitting .344 with 2 home runs.
