Watts's Condition Worse, Suffers Another Setback
Monday, June 9th, 2031
Things have gotten worse for Didier Watts of the Traverse City Bears. The 32-year-old third baseman will not be back as soon as originally expected. Watts is undergoing treatment for a sprained wrist, but his doctors have expanded his recovery time to at least 5 days. An unidentified team official told BNN, "Didier tried to rush his rehab and suffered a setback."
In 35 games this season Watts is batting .317 with 44 hits and 3 home runs. He has scored 18 runs and driven in 30.
