Rookie Toledo Neptunes' shortstop Leads USA to Win in Annual All-Star Game Tuesday, June 23rd , 2048 The best of the best took to the field at The Den tonight, giving GLBL fans a show in the annual all-star game. The USA earned bragging rights with a 6-3 win over the Canadian. Domingo Chávez was named the MVP for his efforts, as he batted 2-for-3 in the contest. "I'm just glad we won, that's the main thing," he said. "The personal accomplishment isn't something I strive for in an all-star game." Looking at his all-time stats, Chávez has a career .252 average with 159 hits, 39 doubles, 3 triples, 10 home runs and 64 RBIs to date. He has scored 51 runs, walked 59 times and stolen 3 bases.
