Maples-Vigilantes Deal: Guilbert for Bennett Sunday, July 27th , 2042 The Maples and Vigilantes announced a deal that was completed today. Toronto sent 22-year old minor league 2B Thomas Walker, 20-year old minor league 3B Jeff Dewar, 23-year old minor league 3B Bruno Guilbert, and 29-year old LF Oscar Abraham to Windsor for 31-year old 3B Aaron Bennett. Both teams appear happy with the outcome of the trade. The general managers told the Baseball News Network they felt the swap was beneficial for all parties involved. For the year Bennett has hit .264 with 9 home runs, 46 RBIs and scored 43 runs. |
