Hamilton Trades Wright for Windsor's Cline Wednesday, July 20th, 2033 The Baseball News Network is reporting that Hamilton and Windsor have agreed in principle to a swap that will send 23-year-old minor league RHP Jordan McConnell and 34-year-old RHP Glenn Wright to the Vigilantes with 30-year-old RHP John Cline joining the Mounties. Hamilton general manager Al Borie would not confirm the trade, but a team representative close to the negotiations said the deal is official and is now only awaiting approval from the league. Thus far this season Wright has saved 0 games. His won-lost mark is 3 wins and 4 losses with 48 strikeouts in 49.2 innings, along with a 3.62 ERA. So far this season, Cline has put up these stats: 21 relief appearances, 10 saves, 25 IP, 32 strikeouts, and 2.52 ERA. His won-lost record is 2-2, and the opposition is hitting .187 against him. |
