Hamilton Loses Robert Leroy Wednesday, May 5th , 2049 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Mounties when after today's game against the Vigilantes, the club found out they would be without the services of Robert Leroy for at least 5 weeks. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Leroy was injured earlier today running the bases and suffered an intercostal strain. This season Leroy is batting .305 with 29 hits, 4 home runs, 17 RBIs, 6 walks, .359 OBP and has scored 12 runs. He has played in 31 games. |
