Waveriders Marcelín Suffers Setback Monday, August 27th, 2035 The Owen Sound Waveriders trainer was the bearer of bad news today, as it was learned Júlio Marcelín's injury will keep him out of the lineup for longer than expected. The Waveriders second baseman is being treated for latissimus dorsi strain. During a routine exam, Marcelín's condition was found to be worse than originally diagnosed and he is now expected to rehab at least another one week. A look at his season totals shows Marcelín with 6 home runs, .246 BA, .317 OBP, 15 RBIs and 22 runs scored. |
