van de Linde Honored by USA Wednesday, August 1st , 2040 Karel van de Linde's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Milwaukee center fielder has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In July he was voted the Rookie of the Month. During the month he hit .224 with 3 doubles, no triples and 7 home runs. van de Linde also scored 12 times and drove in 17 runs. This season van de Linde has 14 home runs and a .201 batting average. |
