CAN Announces Best Batter Award Monday, July 1st , 2052 When Li-ping Chin stepped up to the plate in June he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the Canadian Batter of the Month award. The young Hamilton shortstop posted a .400 batting average with 4 home runs, 21 RBIs and scored 18 runs. Chin also worked pitchers for 6 walks to post a .438 on-base percentage. During the current season Chin is batting at a .337 clip with 12 home runs and 45 RBIs. He has played in 73 games and scored 43 times. |
