Friday, May 22nd , 2054
The city of Detroit is in mourning today for the owner of the Detroit Thunderbirds, Andrew Ricks. He passed away after a brief illness yesterday at a local hospital. Team spokesmen, speaking anonymously, told reporters that his son Daniel Ricks would take charge of running the team and would eventually be named the new owner. Inside sources said that the younger Ricks would be tolerant in management style and charitable in financial matters.
