Walker Day-to-Day with Injury Monday, June 20th , 2039 Hamilton's star first baseman Arthur Walker injured himself in a game against the Owen Sound Waveriders, prompting the team to list him as day-to-day. The doctors are reporting the injury as a bruised knee and they say the best medicine is a short period of rest. "Hopefully I don't get replaced by some hotshot wannabe," said Walker with a smile as he talked to reporters. Walker is presently hitting at a .299 pace with 8 home runs, 23 RBIs and has scored 39 times. |
